The Hero Initiative announced this week their plans for this weekend's Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) being held at McCormick Place's Lakeside Center in Chicago, IL. The non-profit organization will be joining the festivities with great line-up of events including: artists such as Adam Kubert sketching for fans, parties at nearby Reggie's Rock Club, raffling off a custom tattoo design by Ron Garney, and premiering new Witchblade fragrance through Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.
The Hero Initiative will be hosting a party Saturday night, April 17, 2010 at Reggie's Rock Club featuring Kirby Krackle and The Fuglees. Kirby Krackle features comic store owner and convention promoter Jim Demonakos, while the Fuglees are fronted by artist Andy Kuhn. Doors open at 7:00 and the party goes until 3:00 am.
In addition, the raffle for the custom tattoo designed by Marvel's Ron Garney and done by tattoo art Bryan Stringer will take place on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Hero Initiative booth with the tattoo being done on Sunday at 11:00 am.
Finally, the Hero Initiative will be featuring several guests signing and sketching at their booth. The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
