This week, Marvel Studios released images of the three Iron Man 2 standees that will be displayed at movie theaters across the county in anticipation of the May 7, 2010 release of the film. The standees feature Iron Man and War Machine (or both) standing with a number "2" and are expected to hit theaters soon.
Iron Man 2 is the next film in the continuing build up from Marvel Studios to bring the Avengers to the big screen in 2012. Following this release will be Thor on May 6, 2011, The First Avenger: Captain America on July 22, 2011 and finally, The Avengers on May 4, 2012.
Iron Man 2 stars Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Samual L. Jackson, Mickie Rourke and Scarlett Johansson and is directed by Jon Favreau.
