The Hero Initiative will be appearing at the Emerald City Comicon taking place March 13-14, 2010 at the Washignton State Convention Center in Seatle, WA. In addition to their booth at the show, they will also be hosting a Membership Party where Seatle-native, Tim Sale will be honored by the Mayor of Seatle. Sale will also be drawing "Colorful Characters of Marvel," three-minute sketches for members at only $20 each with all the proceeds going to the Hero Initiative.
"Wow, how cool is this? Even though I live in Los Angeles now, in many ways Seattle will always be my home town, and it's very thrilling to be honored by the city in this way,” said Sale in a recent press release. “I hope I can be worthy, and that everyone comes to the Emerald City Comicon and enjoys themselves!"
The Mebership Party will be taking place from 10:00 - 11:00 pm at Ruth's Chris Bar & Grill located at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Fans who become new members of Hero Initiative at the show on Saturday will receive tickets to the Membership Party as a part of their membership.
