Boom! Studios has entered into a publishing agreement with Stan Lee's Pow Entertainment to publish three new superhero titles presented by "The Man" himself, Stan Lee. According to Boom!, one of these three titles will be written by Editor-in-Chief and fan-favorite writer, Mark Waid, while the studio is promising other top writers to scribe the reamining two books.
This announcement follows up on the "Stan's Back" marketing campaign which hit the internet early last week. Making a splash across all comic-realted news sites, as well as grabbing the attention of the Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex and Brand X, the mysterious announcement had fans and industry indsiders speculating at what Lee had planned.
Although this annoucement sheds a little light onto the "Stan's Back" campaign, fans are going to have to wait a little longer for more information, as these titles are set to launch later this year.
