Geoff Johns, the newly named Chief Creative Officer for DC Entertainment, recently commented on his twitter feed about the progress of Warner Bros. Green Lantern film after a visit to the set in New Orleans, LA. The tweets, which have since circultated the internet, included comments concerning casting, characters and locals. They read:
"Back from an amazing trip to Green Lantern town a.k.a. New Orleans!! Ryan IS Hal. And Mark Strong is going to be a brilliant Sinestro."
"Kilowog, the Guardians, Oa...all breathtaking. The age of Green Lantern is upon us!!"
Green Lantern is set for June 17, 2011 release and also stars Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Tim Robins and is being directed by Martin Campbell.
