A CGC certified 9.8 copy of Crypt of Terror #18 with off-white to white pages sold on eBay for $3,566.30 after receiving 21 bids. The copy sold is one of the high-grade file copies which was kept by publisher William Gaines.
The CGC Census currently notes 32 copies certified with four copies tied as being the highest graded in 9.8.
