ComicLink is kicking off the New Year with their largest Focused Auction ever. In fact it is so large, that to make it easier on your eyes, auction lots will close over two weeks instead of one (the Focused Auction will start closing at 7:30pm EST from Tuesday, January 19th thru Thursday, and will resume closing from Tuesday, January 26th thru Thursday, January 28th). They are pretty sure that at a count of nearly 4,200 lots, this auction contains the most CGC Graded comic books ever placed to one auction. Making that even more exciting for bidders, every single one of the 4,000+ CGC Graded comic books within this auction is up for grabs with a start price of $1, and completely no reserve price.
The January Focused Auction was screened for quality material, and is comprised primarily of key and high-grade comic books from the Silver, Bronze, and Copper Ages. There are nearly 600 CGC Graded comic books from Pedigree or Special Collections, and highlights ranging from low to mid-grade keys like Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 4.0 to impressive high-grade Silver Age keys like X-men #1 CGC 9.0 and Avengers #1 CGC 8.0, to pristine Silver Age Marvel and DC's like Amazing Spider-Man #45 CGC 9.8 and Green Lantern #29 CGC 9.6 to impressive Bronze Age like Giant-Size X-men #1 CGC 9.8 and Hulk #181 CGC 9.6, and pristine modern age, like Amazing Spider-Man #300 CGC 9.8 and Bone #1 CGC 9.8.
