The historic second cover appearance of Superman ever on a comic book cover realized $9,200 after receiving 29 bids. The low grade copy featured a detached cover, water stains, some minor restoration, and numerous other defects. This prized Golden Age comic book is highly sought after in any grade and is difficult to locate. In February of 2008 a CGC certified 8.0 copy of Action Comics #7 sold at auction for a record $143,400.
