A CGC certified 9.4 copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 with white pages sold for $4,750 on eBay. Only 3,000 copies of the book were printed and the comic book featured the first appearance and origin of the Turtles, Shredder, and Splinter.
The CGC Census currently notes a total of 283 copies certified with the highest graded copy being a 9.8 copy.
