An impressive original owner collection of Silver Age comic books is being offered in St. Louis by Mound City Collectibles and Auctions, LLC over the course of the next several days. The collection includes over 3,000 comics of which over 1,000 comics have been graded by CGC.

Titles featured in the original owner collection include Amazing Spider-Man, Amazing Fantasy, Avengers, The Flash, Action Comics, Captain America, Detective Comics, Batman, Wonder Woman, Strange Tales, The Brave and The Bold, Showcase, Daredevil, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Tales To Astonish, Justice League of America, Adventure Comics, Green Lantern, and many more. On-line bidding (pre-auction and live) is available via both proxibid.com and icollector.com. Both will feature live video and audio streaming.

Several of the key comics featured in the auction are (Lot # 868) Amazing Fantasy #15 graded 8.0, (Lot # 169) Showcase #22 graded 8.0, (Lot # 203), Avengers #1 graded 9.4, (Lot 294) X-Men #1 graded 9.4, and (Lot #113) Journey Into Mystery #83 graded 8.0.
