ComicConnect.com’s November Event Auction debuted Flash Comics #1 CGC 4.0, Tales of Suspense #39 CGC 7.0, and Amazing Spider-man #1 CGC 7.5 last weekend at the Big Apple/Wizard Con.  They had a dizzying display of comics at their booth including Avengers #2 CGC 9.2 and Avengers #1 CGC 6.0 from the Avengers 1-100 consignment.  “I’m very pleased and proud to announce the entry of Avengers #4 CGC 9.4 to the November Event Auction,” said Rob Reynolds, Director of Consignments at ComicConnect.com.  “We just got the comic back from the guys at CGC and we couldn’t be happier for our consignor!  Adding this to our Showcase #4 CGC 8.5 we received last week, this auction is shaping up to be our best yet,” he said.

Rob spent last weekend at the Big Apple Con meeting fellow comic fans and dealers.  “It was a great weekend and a great time.  The Action Comics #1 we sold in June for $121,000 was fun to show off, thanks to the owner.  We also received some really cool consignments for the auction including an absolutely gorgeous copy of Amazing Spider-man #68 CGC 9.8, tied for the highest grade and if you like bone white pages, check out the first Neil Adams cover for Batman #200 CGC 9.6, and a Captain America #112 CGC 9.6, both consigned over the weekend.”

While at the convention, ComicConnect.com kept the home fires burning by entering some killer Golden Age titles to the recently added Marvel Mystery #5 CGC 8.5.  Be sure to check out Detective Comics #31, a classic Batman cover graded 2.5 by CGC.  For horror fans, try Crypt of Terror #19 CGC 9.6, a Gaines File Copy.  Don’t miss the Captain Midnight #54 CGC 9.4, a highest graded example from the esteemed Edgar Church/Mile High collection.  Did you see the Action Comics #11 CGC 7.0 with the Fred Guardineer cover?  Check out the furious naval battle with a dramatic collision as a highlight.

ComicConnect.com’s original art section of the Event Auction is seeing new gems added daily.  Be sure to peruse the original Savage Sword of Conan pages as well as some hard to find covers, including a Mike Zeck piece from the Iceman mini-series.

Now is the time to consign your comics and original art.  Simply upload your comics on ComicConnect.com and our staff will start promoting your listings and telling prospective buyers to bid on your items.

All CGC graded comics shipped to ComicConnect.com for auction start at $1 with no reserve. They will be scanned and listed by ComicConnect.com at their same low seller's commission of 10% with no buyers premiums.

The deadline for listing is Thursday, November 12th at 10 PM EST.  All auction lots begin on Sunday, November 15th, 12 PM EST.  Most lots will start at $1.00 with no reserve.
