A flurry of consignments have been pouring in for Pedigree Comics, Inc.'s Grand Auction, which starts tonight, Friday, August 14th. The auction will last for 10 days until Monday night, August 24th, on the Pedigree Comics Web site (www.PedigreeComics.com). There are already well over 500 items in the auction, most of them CGC certified 9.8 and 9.6 Silver and Bronze Age Marvels. According to Pedigree's CEO Doug Schmell "This is shaping up to be our best auction yet and easily one of the best single auctions ever for ultra high grade 1960's and 70's comic books. There are amazing runs of almost every Marvel title, with most of the books offered being the highest graded CGC example according to the census. If you are a high grade collector, you owe it to yourself to check out the fabulous selection in the auction".

Many new books have been added to the auction over the past week, almost every one of them being a certified 9.8 or 9.6 Marvel.

Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts for the Grand Auction by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. It is actually very easy and fun to do. Just register onto the site, click "Customer Page" under "Your Account" and then click "Consignments" (under "Auctions"). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and upload your own CGC certified books and magazines. Pedigree Comics will receive an email automatically once you have uploaded the information and they will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the August Grand Auction to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to utilize the Automated Consignment System.
