Amazing Spider-Man #1 CGC 9.6 White Mountain Highlights Current ComicLink Focused Auction


There are many exciting highlights within the current ComicLink Featured Auction, but the star of the show is clearly the White Mountain pedigree example of Amazing Spider-Man #1, in the pristine condition of CGC Near Mint+ 9.6.  CGC has graded over 1,400 examples of Amazing Spider-Man #1; this is one of only three copies in the world assigned the coveted Near Mint+ 9.6 grade. The White Mountain Amazing Spider-Man #1 previously sold for $150,000, in the November  2007 ComicLink sale. 

The auction of this rare and highly demanded gem, as well as another 3,500+ CGC graded comic books, is now live at www. comiclink.com. The bidding for this Amazing Spider-Man #1, as well as many other impressive items (including a none-too-shabby consolation price of an Amazing Spider-Man #1 in CGC 9.2 or Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 8.0), will close during the weeks of April 19 and the week of April 26, 2009. Comic book lots for comics published pre-1975 close April 21 thru April 24, 2009 and comic book lots for comics published post-1975 close April 28 thru May 1, 2009.  The hammer will fall on the Amazing Spider-Man issues on April 21st.
