This weekend long time comics dealer and historian Robert Beerbohm is launching a special sale on his eBay store BLB COMICS

Bob is still working to raise additional funds in order to get over to India to obtain a much-needed hip joint replacement operation where the costs are approximately 20% the price tag for the same operation in the United States. He has been quoted $12,000-15,000 in India vs. $60-100,000 in the United States

He is asking comics fans who have enjoyed learning from his comics business history articles running in The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide since 1997 to scroll thru his offerings of comics and related items.

A couple years ago an HMO canceled his insurance policy citing "undisclosed pre-existing condition" stemming from being a passenger in a vehicle accident in the 1970s. The cartilage in his hip joints where the impacts hit wore off at a faster rate, leaving bone on bone, which becomes quite painful most of the time these days. If he does not obtain replacement joints this year, he might never walk again. He is anxious to get back to his passions setting up at 25-30 comic conventions a year beerbohmnationwide and researching the earliest origins of the comic strip in America.

In his eBay store there is a wide assortment of Platinum Age, Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze Age comic books listed from high grade 9.4 issues to mid-range condition all discounted to almost wholesale levels for the collector or investor to choose from.

There are also high grade pulps, Big Little Books and an assortment of eclectic original comic book and strip art all of which are discounted.
