Matt Nelson and Stephen Ritter have just announced an update on the upcoming Comic Book Pedigrees book. After many inquiries about the forthcoming book on the greatest comic pedigree collections will be finished, they have decided to bring everyone on board to follow us down the final stretch. They felt that a checklist of completed collections and an official pedigree thread on CGC's message boards would be the perfect way to keep collectors informed of their progress. The checklist, which will be continuously updated as they go, and can be viewed at comicpedigrees.com. The website will also have a direct link to the CGC thread.  

It is important to point out that research for any pedigree is ongoing until they go to print, even the ones for which layouts have been completed. They still need help filling in gaps, obtaining original lists, and finding pictures of certain pedigrees. Please visit the official CGC message board thread for their information requests, collector feedback and discussions involving both our book and pedigrees in general. The book's release is planned for the later part of 2009 with announcement of the books release date pending.
