A CGC certified 6.5 copy of Amazing Spider-Man #1 with off-white to white pages brought $6,200 after obtaining 28 bids on eBay. This issue features the first appearance of Jonah Jameson and the Chameleon, the first cross over apperance of the Fantastic Four, and the retelling of Spiderman's origin.
The latest CGC Census notes 343 copies certified with the highest graded copy as a single 9.8.
