This Thursday through Sunday during the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend, ComicConnect invites you to include yourself as a seller in a large grouping of auctions that will be end Sunday, December 14, 2008. Please post your comics before the end of this weekend, so that they may promote them with the 450 consignments already included in this auction. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
1.) Create a free online ComicConnect member account.
2.) Click Create New Listing under the left-hand Member Navigation bar.
3.) Choose “Daily Auction” as the Listing Type. When prompted, select “14 Days”for duration.
When finished listing your comic auctions, please email support@comicconnect.com to request that your lots’ end times be scheduled to coincide with the other auctions ending Sunday, December 14, 2008 between 7 PM – 11 PM EST.
Remember, selling on ComicConnect is primarily for Golden, Silver and Bronze Age comic books originally published between 1930-1975. It is free to list any comic that has a good scan, is accurately graded, and is worth at least $50 on the market. ComicConnect only accepts a low 10% seller’s premium when a sale is made. ComicConnect respectfully asks sellers to list their comics with low enough starting bids and reserves to attract sufficient bidding, and has the right to decline approving any listing for auction that does not have a realistic chance of selling.
If you won’t be able to participate in this auction, but are interested in other selling opportunities, you may wish to post your comics at “Fixed Price” to accept, reject and counter offers made by other collectors. If you have a large collection or key issues, contact ComicConnect at support@comicconnect.com or 212-895-3999 to discuss including them in their next Event Auction, or to ask them to promote your own special auction.
Below are some highlights of the over 450 auctions already in progress! Most of these comics are priced to sell with low starting bids at 50% guide value!
Check out the newly listed consignment of 176 high-grade & mid-grade Silver and Bronze Age Marvels. Great scans, conservative grading, and starting bids at half guide – go get ‘em!
The November 2, 2008 auction’s seller of 1950’s horror comics that were uncovered in the back of an old store has listed over 50 more comics from this great collection. This time, there are even a few dozen inexpensive romance, western, sci-fi and Bronze Marvel in the mix of comics.
