The costume worn by Reb Brown for his role as Captain America in the 1979 made for television movie Captain America sold on eBay for $1,425 after receiving 20 bids. The costume and shield were in very good condition overall with general studio wear and had excellent provenance. The costume was purchased from Sotheby’s from an auction for restaurant Planet Hollywood. Previosuly the costume was sold in 1996 by the auction house Profiles in History.
