Doug Schmell, CEO of Pedigree Comics announced that their second live, time-based Grand Auction is turning into a major Marvel bonanza. There will be many CGC-certified Silver and Bronze Age Marvels and keys, graded 9.6, 9.4, and 9.2 with many great titles and issues to choose from. According to Schmell, the consignments have been coming in at a rapid pace and will continue to up until the auction commencement on October 15, 2008. All books in the Grand Auction have a starting bid of $1,000.
Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions, and reserve amounts for the Grand Auctions by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. It is actually very easy and fun to do. Just register onto the website, click “Customer Page” under “Your Account” and then click “Consignments”. You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System under “Auction Lots” and upload your own CGC-certified books and magazines. Pedigree Comics will receive an email automatically once you have uploaded the information and they will then review it for accuracy. The item will then be added to the upcoming Grand Auction.
