A CGC certified copy of Fantastic Four #1 with off-white to white pages graded 6.5 sold on eBay for $12,655 after receiving 23 bids. The comic features the first appearance and origin of the Fantastic Four which were Marvel's first superhero team since the Golden Age.
Currently, the CGC Census report notes a total of 701 copies of Fantastic Four #1 graded with the highest certified copy graded 9.6.
