A CGC-certified 6.5 copy of Amazing Spider-Man #1 featuring the first appearance of J. Jonah Jameson and the Chameleon was purchased on eBay for $7,100 when the buyer used the eBay Buy It Now option. The CGC Census notes a total of 1,496 certified copies with the highest graded example being a lone 9.8 copy.
